BERLIN (Reuters) – A woman living in Germany is auctioning off her red Ferrari Enzo sports car and including a little extra in the package — herself.
The 26-year-old has invited bids on Internet auction site ebay starting at 1.25 million euros ($1.6 million). She said she was rich herself, liked her car and was looking for a man who could foot the bill for such a luxury.
“Only a millionaire could afford such a car,” said the woman, who gave her name as Leila and said she once worked as a singer in Syria. “I want a man who doesn’t like me just for my money.”
Leila said she would meet with interested bidders but would need to see the bidder’s passport and proof of capital. No bids have been made yet in the auction which ends in a week.

Liela is one pricy bold woman on offering.
Well…Leila certainly knows her mind. This is a very interesting way of finding a man who will not be after her money because he would certainly have to have his own to buy her and the Ferrari. She gets an A+ for creativity and marketing–she is getting great exposure this way. If I owned that great little sports car and I was looking for love, I would keep it for myself in my own name, then read Love Smart by Dr. Phil if I wanted to find the right man. That way there is a chance of really knowing the person first and then having that knowledge to choose whether or not this is the right man for me. Oh…and I would not mention I was filthy rich and owned a Ferrari until I really know the person. It may be old-fashioned but it is certainly an alternative way to know someone is not after just your money. Not as sensational, though.
I agree, knowing the person is a must. You should be able to realize if he has money or not. Hey… if he takes you on a date in his ’92 Ford, you should be able to take the hint 🙂 Then again, perhaps she’s that annoying that no men with money want her, so she needed the advertising.
What a trashy little hypocrite this woman is. She says she wants a man who will want her for more then her money then demands to see proof of capital to go along with her 1.6 million dollar price tag. Where this golddigger gets the stones to say it’s not about the money while fleecing some poor chump is totally beyond me. At this time I’d like to make a prediction. It’s the future! I see a man who has paid an exorbitant amount of cash for a car and a woman getting dumped shortly after he pays for her and the car. He keeps the car he’s probably paying waaaaay too much for and she just goes out and buys another and probably still turns a tidy profit at the sucker’s expense.
